We are the Sacramento area's largest retail bead shop. Our store has 2,000 square feet of beads, crystals, semi-precious stones, charms, pearls, findings, books, and all your beading supplies. Japanese Seed Beads are our specialty! There are numerous design samples on display at the store, consisting of beaded pouches, beaded bottles, beaded ornaments, and finished jewelry, just to name a few - giving you just a hint of what can be created with our merchandise.

U Bead It has been in business for 30 years now. We have grown to be the region's premier beading source, especially known for it's large selection, value, and comfortable shopping environment. Our staff are knowledgeable, responsive, and most of all, friendly. We have gained the reputation for being a fun place to shop. So don't hesitate to drop by if your are in the area. 

Although U Bead It has been in business since 1989, Yvonne, the owner, has many more years of experience in the arts and crafts industry. Many of the store's sample bead designs are hers. By her vary nature, she is an extremely talented, crafty, and imaginative person when it comes to arts and crafts. Always ready to take on new and exciting challenges, her experience has diversified beyond just beading.

She designed and decorated her own shop. In fact, she actually made the majority of the store's wood casework herself. She has experience in special wall painting techniques and finishes, fabric window coverings, upholstery work, just to name a few. Now Yvonne is into authoring beading books. You may be familiar with The Beaded Ornament and The Beaded Bracelet Books Volumnes 1-4.

From US Highway 50: Take the Watt Avenue north exit. Continue north on Watt Avenue. until you reach El Camino Avenue. Turn left there and travel one block, then make a right turn onto Yorktown Avenue. We are the last storefront in the shopping center on your left.

Eastbound on Interstate 80: Take the El Camino Avenue east exit and travel until you reach Yorktown Avenue. Turn left there. We are the last storefront in the shopping center on your left.

Westbound on Interstate 80: Take the Watt Avenue south exit and travel south on Watt Avenue until you reach El Camino Avenue. Turn right there. Travel one block then turn right again on Yorktown Avenue. We are the last storefront in the shopping center on your left.
