Micro Macramé Bezel

Teacher: Jeannine Mankins

Micro macramé is a great way to capture that cabochon, sea glass, flat stones, coins or shell you found. It is a fun, and not so common way of creating a bezel for your piece. This technique gives your piece a more organic and earthy appearance. This is an intermediate beginner class and some macramé experience is helpful. You will learn the knots used to form the bezel, and how to finish it into a necklace. Note: The class being taught is not an appropriate technique for a freeform tumbled stone or rock. The specimen must have a more even edge all the way around. If a tumbled or freeform stone is brought to class, you will be required to purchase a different piece to bezel.
